📐 How We Calculate
The window film calculator uses the following formula:
Window Area = Width × Height
Total Area = Window Area × Number of Windows
Film Length = Total Area / 1.52m (standard film width)
With Safety Margin = Film Length × 1.1 (10% extra)
Standard Width: Window film typically comes in 1.52m wide rolls.
Safety Margin: We add 10% extra film for trimming and installation waste.
