The primer calculator uses the following formula:
Consumption Rate:
• Absorbent surface: 0.15 L/m²
• Semi-absorbent surface: 0.10 L/m²
• Non-absorbent surface: 0.07 L/m²
Primer Needed = Area × Consumption Rate × Number of Coats
10L Cans = ⌈Primer Needed / 10⌉
Surface Type: Porous surfaces absorb more primer than smooth surfaces.
Standard Cans: Primer typically comes in 10L containers.
